Reach for the Stars

I decided to enter the Lloyds TSB Art of Nurture competition again this year. The image is based on the theme 'We Stretch Ourselves'; my idea being that space exploration is the most extreme expression of humanity stretching themselves to their limits. It is also a basic play on the idea of 'reaching for the stars,' reaching for improvement.

Art of Nurture Competition

These are my two entries for Lloyds TSB's Art of Nurture competition. I chose the theme 'working together.' I've had the thumbnail sketches for months but the final images here are unfortunately a bit of a rush job! I've had too much other work to do. Ah well, at least I've entered. I can but hope. :3
