Made using a selection of drawings from the zoology museum. hopefully as part of an entry for the searle award - a competition run by my art school.

Print

This is the only print from the Narrative Printmaking module i did that i actually like! (bit of a waste of a module for me I'm afraid. Why i didn't take Drawing Studies instead I'll never know!)
anyway, it's an offset mono-print and here it is:

The Owl and the Warbler

I'm meant to be entering the Cheltenham Illustration Award but I've been distracted trying to get my work organized for hand-in and I'm not sure I'll be able to get it done in time. Anyway, these are drawings of warbler and owl characters for the idea i have for my entry - a little story about an owl following his warbler friend on migration to get away from the rain!

The Cover

The Cover for my book project...and with this it is DONE! XD
...although I'm now tempted to add text to it. At least if i decide to enter it in the McMillan next year.

Tree

This is a reworked image previously showing the little girl looking up at the tree. The perspective was very screwed up and i didn't like the composition so i came up with this instead.
